MIPAPOL MILTOPLAST 20KG

MILTOPLAST COMPOUND is a specially designed powder mixture for leveling of walls, ceilings and floors on every cement-based surface. It fills irregularities and can be used as a repairing mortar wherever is needed. It is efficient enough for smoothing old textured surfaces. In addition, it can be applied as a finishing product using a spongy rubbing tool.  It is extremely suitable for exterior as well as interior use. Its composition is mainly based on Portland cement, sand-limestone fillers and polymeric powder that increases significantly the adhesive, flexural and tensile strength. The product is classified according to EN 998-1.

Surfaces of application must be sound and clean, free from oil, chemicals, dust and other loose materials. Weak and absorptive substrates   should be primed with a polymeric stabilizing solution. Dry and warm surfaces must be pre-wetted with clean water.The powder is mixed in clean water under continuous stirring until a uniformed mixture with the desired thickness is obtained. The mortar becomes ready to use after 5 minutes. It is spread and leveled with a steel trowel or spatula   in one, two or more layers.  Each new layer follows after the previous has dried out. The drying time always depends on the temperature of the environment. Coverage depends basically on the roughness of the surface. From practical experience, it is estimated on an average of 1.5-2 kg for 1 mm coat thickness for 1m² of surface depending on the roughness of the substrate.
