Use:

1. Roughen the thread with a saw blade or file.
2. Wrap in one of the first steps of the thread following the direction of the thread. For best sealing performance do not follow the recesses of the thread. Ensure that LOCTITE 55 is applied tautly.
3. Cut the LOCTITE 55 sealing cord with the integrated cutting device and press the free end onto the thread.
4. Screw and tighten the joint with a pipe wrench. Replace if necessary.
