HYDROSTOP D16 DUROSTICK

Description

Protects the surface of grouts (tiles, granites, glass bricks, etc.) from the absorption of moisture and stains, resulting in maintaining their strength and color. Seals capillary cracks in grouts that occur due to temperature changes or sudden dehydration during grouting. Indoors (eg bathroom, kitchen), it ‘prevents’ the absorption of moisture and therefore the appearance of mold, while outdoors, it ‘prevents’ the peeling of tiles that are likely to be caused by frost. Its water repellency is maintained for 2 years externally and for 5 years internally.

Way Of Use
Application preparation: Thoroughly clean the joints with a damp sponge. • If stained, the use of DUROSTICK biodegradable general purpose cleaner BIOCLEAN is recommended.

If they are heavily stained or discolored, clean (scrape) the surface with the TIRE JOINT SCRAP and wipe off dust and dirt.
If there are building residues, we use DUROSTICK ACID TILE CLEANER (after at least 20 days from the grouting). After shaking the container, pierce the top of the package with a pin. Do not cut with a knife or scissors, because this does not control its flow during application.
Application: Squeeze the container lightly, allowing the required amount to flow to cover the joint. The next coat is applied while the first remains fresh. Any residues during application are cleaned with a dry and soft, lint-free cloth while it is still wet or with acetone if it manages to dry.
